"Sch nitt meng en”

Eine Kontinuum geschwisterlicher Aushandlungen. Anna und Lea folgen ihrer emotionalen und situativen Spuren der vergangenen drei Monate Recherchearbeit live auf der Bühne. Zwischen ruhe, Zärtlichkeit und scharfer Auseinandersetzung bewegen sich die Geschwister in fließenden rotierenden Tanz zwischen einem traumhaften Urlaubsort und der physischen und emotionalen Realität des Moments. Im Spiel mit Imagination erlauben die Performerinnen den Zu(mit)schauenden einen Einblick in ihre vertraute Beziehung.

Die 30-minütige Aufführung "Schnittmengen" ist ein performatives Teilen des Prozesses der Bachelorarbeit von Anna in Zusammenarbeit mit ihrer Schwester Lea. Die Aufführung ist das aktuelle Ergebnis von drei Monaten physischer Recherche- und Care-Arbeit.

“UPDATE COLOGNE #5”

During the Solo Exhibition of Cologne based artist Christine Reifenberger, the choreographer duo Gal Feffermann and Evie Paros were invited to create a Interdisciplinary Dance and Sound Performance for the Finissage. With the musical direction of Nicolay Bernstein Isabel Vieira, Giada Peli and Anna Simonsmeier went into embodied relation with the 3-dimensional art pieces of Christine Reifenberger.

“IN THIS”

IN THIS is the first Soloperformance Anna created with the support of Jared Gradinger. She is working with the breath, one of the most fundamental movement as we enter the life on earth. Brecht as an ongoing exchange with what surrounds us letting the illusion of separation crumble away in the most obvious way.

“Breath sources my movement. I’m letting out the air moving with the causal effect of breath: the energy that was brought from the last breaths to my body. I breath in, not letting go. The air is mine then it becomes yours again and I am released.”

“Lorelei Maneater”

This evening length piece was choreographed by Gustavo Gomez within four weeks . The piece is mainly improvised and got shown in the HfMT Cologne together with two other pieces within the stundend's format IMPACT ZONE from Zentrum Zeitgenössischer Tanz Köln..

Giving inside to the dancers perspective, Anna was in great conflict performing this piece. “Since my approach to projects is to give great attention to to the “how-ness” of the processes and intends sustainability for the body and psych, this process and work was opposed to my values and I reject having any process or performance of such kind again.”
